Report of Scammers Requesting $$$ for Sheriff's K-9 Unit

Cumberland County Sheriff Earl “Moose” Butler warned citizens in the Fayetteville area Friday that scam artists were traveling through the area, asking local residents for contributions to support his office’s K-9 unit. He stated that no such fund-raising effort by his office was underway.
