The North Carolina Attorney General's Telemarketing Fraud Prevention Unit has learned that classified ads are being placed throughout the United States for "advance fee loans" by a company using the name and address as follows:

WEBSITE: http://dbgcs.com

The ad reads as follows:

"DO YOU WANT TO START THE NEW YEAR RIGHT? IS YOUR $$$$$$ SITUATION A LITTLE TIGHT? HOW ABOUT GETTING A LOAN WITH NO FIGHT? 877-467-9991. WE OFFER PERSONAL, BUSINESS, DEBT CONSOLIDATION & REFINANCE LOANS. NO UPFRONT FEES INVOLVED."

The companies' main pitch to consumers, that it will provide loans once those consumers pay it a fee in advance, appears to be false. In addition, “Debt Be Gone Credit Specialists” is not licensed to provide or broker loans to NC consumers.
