Long-time member of the NC Senior Consumer Fraud Task Force and the Senior Tar Heel Legislature, Ben Douglas of Columbus County, shares the following with fellow Task Force members:

“When I got home from the latest Senior Fraud Task Force meeting, I had a message on my answering machine from our local Retired Senior Volunteer Program head, Dr. Melody Prevatte. We were warned that someone may call and say they were from RSVP or Southeastern Comm. Coll. and needed our SS number so the government could send us a check.”
