At the quarterly meeting of the Senior Consumer Fraud Task Force two weeks ago, US Postal Inspection Service team leader Regina Faulkerson and her colleague Deborah Fox shared their agency’s new compilation of consumer protection publications and videos. They are available to you on-line at Task Force members engaged in fraud awareness efforts might find the materials quite helpful, as they pertain to several scams that target older consumers.

Video titles available at that website include: Fake Check Scams – Truth or Consequences; Cross-Border Fraud; Internet Fraud – Web of Deceit; Foreign Lotteries – Long Shot; Work-at-Home Scams…They Just Don’t Pay; Protect Your Identity – Identity Crisis; and, Dialing for Dollars – Telemarketing Fraud.
