Directions to the Lineberger Building
1205 Umstead Drive – Dorthea Dix Campus, Raleigh, NC 27603
TRAVELING FROM THE WEST ON I-40 (GOING EAST)
- Take Exit #297 (Lake Wheeler Road).
- Turn Left onto Lake Wheeler Road.
- *Go past Farmers Market, thru stop light.
- Go across railroad tracks.
- First street to the left after the railroad tracks is Goode Drive.
- Turn Left onto Goode Drive – go to stop sign.
- Turn Left at the stop sign – this is Biggs.
- Continue on Biggs to the first stop sign, continue straight.
- Continue to the second (2nd) stop sign (Intersection of Biggs & Umstead Dr.).
- Turn Right onto Umstead Drive.
- **Continue to and across the railroad tracks over-pass bridge.
- The Lineberger Building is the first building on the left after crossing the railroad tracks.
- Enter the building from the Front. Acute/Home Care Licensure Section is to the right down the corridor.
TRAVELING FROM THE EAST ON I-40 (GOING WEST)
- Take Exit #297 (Lake Wheeler Road).
- Turn right onto Lake Wheeler Road.
- Follow directions from starred (*) point above.
FROM WESTERN BOULEVARD
- From downtown, traveling on Western Boulevard, stay in the far-left lane to Central Prison entrance.
- At the crossover, turn left onto Hunt Drive.
- Continue on Hunt Drive to its end at Umstead Drive.
- Turn LEFT onto Umstead Drive and follow directions from starred (**) point above.
