General Information

The Medical Facilities Planning Section provides staff support to the North Carolina State Health Coordinating Council in the development of the annual State Medical Facilities Plan (SMFP) and Semiannual Dialysis Reports (SDR).

Staff support is provided to the council, its three standing committees (Acute Care Services, Long-Term and Behavioral Health and Technology and Equipment) as well as special work groups or task forces that may be appointed to focus on specific issues.
