Semiannual Dialysis Report (SDR)
The Semiannual Dialysis Report is published twice a year, in January and July. The report provides:
- a current inventory of dialysis facilities and the facilities' utilization rates;
- a description of the method for projecting need for new dialysis stations;
- the schedule for publication of the Semiannual Dialysis Report and for receipt of End State Renal Disease (ESRD) Certificate of Need applications, and;
- need determinations for new dialysis stations by county

- Table B of the July 2009 SDR was revised on 7/7/09 to correct an error in calculating the '12.31.08 % Home Patients'. Correcting this error resulted in changes to Projected 12/31/09 Patients and to some Projected Station Deficits and Surpluses. However, correcting this error did not change the need determination for 10 stations in Alexander County, nor did the correction result in additional need determinations. The July
2009 SDR now includes the Revised Table B, which supersedes the Table B
posted on July 1, 2009.
