The Mental Health Licensure and Certification section offers a 2.5 hour session to help direct and inform those who wish to know more about starting a facility offering the services that fall under the Mental Health Licensure (MHL) rules. The purpose of the class is to provide a general overview of the North Carolina mental health system and to review the requirements for licensure. An MHL surveyor will talk about:
