N.C. Proposed 2009 State Medical Facilities Plan Updated Adult Care Home Need Determinations

No certificate of need applications were filed for the Alexander, Alleghany and Polk county bed need determinations that were identified in the 2008 State Medical Facilities Plan (SMFP). Pursuant to Policy GEN-1 of the 2008 SMFP, application of the adult care home bed need methodology as presented in the Proposed 2009 SMFP results in a 10 bed need determination for Alexander County, a 40 bed need determination for Alleghany County and a 10 bed need determination for Polk County in the Proposed 2009 SMFP.
Please note that the need determinations for Alexander, Alleghany and Polk counties are in addition to the determinations that were noted on page 247 of the Proposed 2009 SMFP.
