What is ERS?
The
DHHS Division of Human Resources announces the Employment and Referral
Services (ERS) program. The ERS program will provide personalized
services to Dorothea Dix and John Umstead Hospital employees who
would like the assistance of Human Resources (HR) in planning and conducting
their
search
for another
job. Only Dorothea Dix and John Umstead Hospital employees are eligible for
ERS services.
ERS will
be offered to employees in two phases:
Phase I: For employees without a job offer or who have declined
an offer for the Central Regional Hospital.
Phase II: For employees who have chosen employment at the Central
Regional Hospital but who may still desire local employment options.
The DHHS Human
Resources Division supports employees who may be displaced as
a result of the closing of Dorothea Dix and
John Umstead Hospitals. This support will be provided by a team
of HR representatives specializing in a variety of Human Resources
areas, including training, coaching, and job searching.
HR representatives
will provide ongoing guidance throughout the job search process.
