As supervisors and managers, you have a few special roles beyond the basics that will be important for you.

If an employee makes a Workplace Harassment claim, supervisors and managers generally have to spend hundreds of hours dealing with the issue and the Department spends thousands of dollars working through the claim process.
You can be held liable for unlawful Workplace Harassment in your area even if you were unaware of the problem.
puzzle pieces It's not as bad as it seems, though, if you make sure that you do a few things up front!
This involves making sure that
  • all of your employees have gone through some type of Workplace Harassment training, and
  • you have made it clear to your employees that you have a "Zero Tolerance" policy in your area for Workplace harassment.
