Maggie is treating her employees unfairly, by not treating them equally.

This may not be the only way Maggie is "favoring" the men and could lead to a workplace harassment claim by one of the women. She may be requiring the women to complete more work in her effort to help them "get ahead in a man's world," for example.

So, even though Maggie may think she's helping the women by pushing them a little harder, she is definitely treating them differently, and this could lead to problems.
