Don't become a barrier to employees who may need to register a harassment complaint! By making sure that your employees know that you have a "no tolerance" policy and that you are available can go a long way in helping them feel comfortable about bringing any complaints to you.

Make sure that employees also know that they can complain to someone other than the supervisor if the situation involves the supervisor. When you discuss the policy and give the employees copies, make sure they also get the contact information for their Human Resource office or Employee Relations Specialist.
