
Who can attend these courses?
The courses listed to the right are open to DHHS employees.
Some classes are designed specifically for Supervisors, Managers,
or Training Coordinators. If the intended audience is not
clear from the course title, click on the course name for more information.

What about cost?
The courses are free or have a minimal charge (generally from
$5.00 to $15.00 per person).
How do I look for a particular class?
You may browse through the subject groupings and
click on the course name
to see the course description and dates offered. Or go
directly to the 2008 calendar or
the 2009 calendar to browse through
the current schedule.
We will continue to add classes here and send out e-mail notices and flyers announcing newly scheduled classes.
How do I register for a class?
In general, employees should ask their supervisors about signing
up for classes. Supervisors should then contact their Training Coordinators to handle the registration.

Who teaches these classes and where are they held?
Generally, staff from the Employee and Management Development
section in Raleigh teach the courses. In some instances,
individuals are contractors that were former DHHS trainers.
