Course Description

Improving people's interaction skills will improve the way your unit thinks and acts. This course presents the basics on how to work well together, reduce wasted time, lessen conflict and influence interactions in a positive way.


General Course Objectives

Participants attending this course will:

  • Choose the most effective way to interact with others in order to reduce wasted time and miscommunication.
  • Get what they need from interactions.
  • Make sure they give others what they need from their interactions.
  • Maintain strong working relationships and reduce misunderstandings and conflicts.

Intended Audience:
This course is for any non-supervisory state employee
who wishes to learn about personal interactions.
