Stress Management

Course Description

This three-hour course allows participants the opportunity to discuss what causes their personal stress, how stress affects them and ways to cope with stress.


General Course Objectives

Participants attending this course will:

  • Identify their positive and negative stressors.
  • Determine what they can and cannot control.
  • Identify their bodies' responses to stress.
  • Determine their individual stress level.
  • Identify stress-reducing techniques.
  • Practice various stress-reducing techniques.


Intended Audience

Open to all DHHS employees who feel that better stress management skills would enhance their well-being and job performance.
