Classification and Compensation
The Classification and Compensation team manages the state’s job classification system and the state salary plan as well as DHHS educators’ pay. It also serves as primary technical contact on BEACON operational and system requirements as well as coordinates BEACON training and access. For example, your upcoming BEACON training will be coordinated through this team.
The Recruitment team administers the state’s merit-based employment system as well as develops and implements recruitment strategies. This team also manages reductions-in-force and priority re-employment services.
The Employee and Management Development team develops and delivers instructional program, including classroom and web-based training courses.
