Communicating with Impact

HR Classes Offered to DHHS Employees

This four-hour course covers the basic principles of effective communication and provides a powerful set of interaction and communication skills.

General Course Objectives

Participants attending this course will learn to:

  • Recognize the impact they can have on their success and the success of others by enhancing interpersonal relationship in the workplace.
  • Relate to co-workers and customers in a way that meets their personal needs and the practical needs of accomplishing objectives.
  • Use interaction process skills that enable them to conduct successful discussions that achieve results.
  • Provide specific, meaningful feedback that helps others improve their performance and increase productivity.
