HR Classes Offered to DHHS Employees and Supervisors

This is an introductory class to familiarize HR Professionals about the policies and procedures involved in Merit-Based Employment and the roles of hiring managers, and to provide an overview of selection tools, postings, and vacancy announcements.

General Course Objectives

Participants attending this course will learn to:

• Understand concepts of the merit-based system and communicate the process to employees and applicants.
• Make hiring decisions based on merit principles.

Supervisors and other "Hiring Managers", subject to space availability
