
HR Classes Offered to DHHS Supervisors
This two-day Performance Management for Supervisors course covers the outline of the phases of the work cycle and describes the skills and interaction guidelines needed to influence employees to manage their own work. This course covers the state policy requirements as well as DHHS Performance Management Policy.
The online class, Performance Management for Employees (PME), is required prework to taking the Performance Management for Supervisors class. Please, bring to class a copy of your PME certificate. (If you have already taken the PME class, we are still asking you to take it again as prework, if it has been six months or more since you last took the online course.)
Communicating for Leadership Success (formally the Essentials of Leadership), is the pre-requisite for all of the required Supervisor and Manager classes . This course gives a foundation for leaders (Supervisors and Managers) and helps them to get results through people.
