RBI: Resolving Conflict

HR Classes Offered to DHHS Supervisors

This eight-hour course focuses on the role of the supervisors and managers to recognize the signs of conflict in the workplace and then to quickly choose the appropriate level of involvement to help resolve the issue and is the second day of the two-day RBI class. You must complete both classes to get credit for attending the RBI course.

General Course Objectives

Participants attending this course will learn to:

  • Effectively resolve workplace conflict and enhance productivity, efficiency, and morale.
  • Help others take responsibility for resolving workplace conflict.
  • Reduce or minimize the negative effects of workplace conflict on individuals, work groups, and their organization.

Communicating for Leadership Success (formally the Essentials of Leadership), is the pre-requisite for all of the required Supervisor and Manager classes . This course gives a foundation for leaders (Supervisors and Managers) and helps them to get results through people.
