of Understanding of the Conflict of Interest Policy.
Why do I need to fill out this form?
Conflict of Interest Policy.
The work of state government is a public trust. It is essential that public employees
be independent and impartial to maintain the confidence and trust of North
Carolina's citizens. This Policy provides guidance to DHHS employees on the
maintenance of the public trust and the avoidance of conflicts of interest.
It contains descriptions of what types of situations may be conflicts of interest
and examples of what employees should do in different types of situations.
