Polygraph Guidelines 1. Polygraphs may be allowed in very rare
situations involving an investigation conducted by management. 2. An employee may be disciplined for
unacceptable personal conduct up to and including dismissal for refusing to
take a polygraph exam as part of a reasonable management investigation. 3. The results cannot be used in the
grievance process or in a court of law. Contact the DHHS Employee
Relations Section before proceeding with any polygraph examination. |
