The State Facility Advocates Team Other Links Human Rights
Human Rights Committees are established at each facility to provide an additional safeguard for protecting the human, civil, legal and treatment rights of clients served by these facilities. If you are interested in serving on a Human Rights Committee for a particular facility, please contact Wendi McDaniel in the Central Office. Wendi McDaniel can ensure that your information is forwarded to the appropriate individuals for consideration.
The rules for the Human Rights committees are: 10A NCAC 28A .0201 through .0208.
