New e508 process policy to go into effect February 1st, 2008

Our office has written a policy on the e508 system to clarify and strengthen our standard operating procedures for this process. Most agencies are doing a great job with this new system. If your agency needs technical assistance on the e508 system, please contact us. You should receive a hard copy of the policy in the mail this week. Here it is in the attached word document. We will be using this policy in the accountability reviews in the future. Please review the policy carefully and begin implementation immediately. Pay close attention to the timelines indicated. Our intent is to maximize quality and efficiency of this system. Thanks for all of your hard work.

New policy for timeliness of an assessment for DWI Services

Please review the attached policy document and prepare for implementation. This addresses the frequent question about the timeliness of an assessment for DWI Services. This policy will go into effect as of December 1, 2007. Assessments completed on or after December 1, 2007 will fall under this policy. Individuals seeking assessments for services must be notified in writing about the policy. To verify this notification, auditors will be looking for a statement signed by any individual being assessed on or after December 1, 2007. A hard copy of the policy will be mailed to providers early next week and we will also have it on our web site under the provider link.
