2010 Fall Medicaid Audit
The DMH/DD/SAS Accountability Team conducted audits of Medicaid services from October 4, 2010 through November 3, 2010. Audits took place at five (5) centralized locations: Asheville, Winston-Salem, Lumberton, Rocky Mount, and Gastonia. Information on the audit processes, tools to be used, and auditor guidelines, as well as directions are posted here. Approximately 3 weeks prior to your audit, agencies were notified that they had been selected to be audited and received a specific appointment date and time. Approximately 1week prior to each audit, providers received a list of records to be reviewed. Audit tools and guidelines were subject to revisions. Any changes made were posted to this web site.
