Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Community mental health and substance abuse services are available to people who are deaf, hard of hearing or deaf-blind from culturally competent treatment professionals  who are sign language fluent.  Deaf, Hard of Hearing or Deaf-Blind consumers access these services through the LMEs. (Deaf or Hard of Hearing callers: Please connect to your preferred VRS/TRS provider, then call the LME.)  Inpatient mental health and substance abuse services are provided at Broughton Hospital in Morganton.
