As a Web-based service, NCcareLINK makes it easier to find community-based human services from its comprehensive compilation of contacts – a database that is updated daily at 20 Internet hubs across the state.

Your Web-based information and referral network is a result of a joint process begun in 2003 involving state agencies, local and community-based information and referral services. NCcareLINK got under way with support from an Aging and Disability Resources Center grant. The N.C. Division of Aging and Adult Services and the Office of Citizen Services provided early guidance as the concept took shape. Now NCcareLINK is a network of 20 hubs providing regional updates on a daily basis to make sure you can access the information you need.

We invite you to give NCcareLINK a try.

Follow a simple registration process and your searches can be saved to a file available only to you through use of a logon and a password. As you use the service, you will discover a decision tool to guide even the most inexperienced visitor to useful information. There is a hot topic area providing you critical information related to changes in government assistance, such as Medicare, or weather concerns, such as hurricanes or winter storms.
