Creating outreach
opportunities for the citizens of North Carolina is a key component
for the Office
of Citizen Services (OCS) and
the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services’ (NCDHHS).
Staff eagerly share information and strive to educate community leaders,
advocacy groups, clubs, senior center attendees and conference
participants about OCS services as well as NCDHHS programs and services
overall. OCS
serves as a central point of contact for residents who have questions
regarding NCDHHS divisions and offices. As a result, staff are
very knowledgeable about services that are provided across the department
and are able to share this knowledge through outreach.
As one of the largest
departments in North Carolina state government, more than 30 divisions
and offices make up NCDHHS. Click here for more
information regarding NCDHHS
divisions.
