CRC Programs in North Carolina

North Carolina's vision for Community Resource Connections for Aging and Disabilities is to link resources within the community and strengthening relationships between existing providers through partnerships and referral protocols to facilitate a "no wrong door" approach to services.

"No wrong door" is a philosophy of public service that strives to give consumers access to services regardless of how or where they first encounter the system. The goal of no wrong door is to create a system where long term supports and services wrap themselves around the individual and provide seamless access to information on available options. This philosophy can support many different models for helping people get the information they need to get services and supports. In our model, consumers will have seamless access to relevant and necessary information about services, whether the full array of services is offered in one location or dispersed among many locations.
