Recruitment for COVID-19
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) is seeking health care professionals who are passionate about upholding the safety and well-being of all North Carolinians.
If you are not already committed to a COVID-19 healthcare team, we need you! We have positions starting immediately. We are looking for individuals with backgrounds in the fields of medicine, nursing, counseling, mental/behavioral health, nutrition services, and housekeeping.
We also need general administrative support staff to assist in screening, contact tracing, and other work during this time. Please provide your information in this form to let us know more about yourself and your background.
You can apply directly at the NC Government Jobs website for registered nurse or health care technician positions, which are needed at our Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities. If you are looking for a challenging career working as part of a multi-disciplinary team that impacts lives, consider applying today to work at one of our facilities across the state. We have needs across all shifts with flexibility in scheduling.
We are currently accepting graduate temporary permits. Since testing centers for the NCLEX exam are temporarily closed, the N.C. Board of Nursing has reinstituted the Graduate Nurse status for North Carolina graduates. If you know of others who may be interested, please share the information on this website.
NCDHHS is also working on a number of efforts to bolster the health care workforce during COVID-19. Learn more about how you can pick up extra shifts at other health care facilities in your community, serve as a contact tracer or how you can volunteer to supplement our health care workforce.
