About Us

The mission of the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services is, in collaboration with our partners, to protect the health and safety of all North Carolinians and provide essential human services.

The Division of Budget and Analysis provides leadership and support to department and division management by (1) developing, executing and modifying the Department's operating budget (2) researching and analyzing issues that impact the Department's budgets, plans and programs, and (3) developing innovative solutions to challenging problems.
