NC Council for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing

The North Carolina Council for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing was established to advise the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Public Instruction on matters pertaining to services provided to deaf and hard of hearing individuals and their families. All meetings are open to the public.
Two North Carolina statutes govern the Council for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing.

NC Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Committee Meetings

All official meetings of the North Carolina Council for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing comply with Article 33C, Section 143-318.9 to Section 143-318.18 of the North Carolina open meeting law. Public comments or questions will be addressed/answered at the end of each committee meeting.
