Social Services

What We Do

The Division of Social Services provides direct services that address issues of poverty, family violence and exploitation. We aim to prevent abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable citizens, and promote self-reliance and self-sufficiency for individuals and families.

Local Social Services Office

Every county in North Carolina has its own local social services agency. If you have questions, they have answers. We're here to help you find contact information for your local county office.
