The Community Engagement and Empowerment Team is pleased to offer trainings to organizations and community stakeholder groups, including Consumer and Family Advisory Committees, LME/MCO staff, provider organizations and networks, professional organizations, faith-based groups, local government agencies, and community organizations interested in expanding their knowledge and resources to better support people with lived experience.

All trainings are tailored to meet the needs of the group, and most can be offered as virtual and in-person options. To schedule a training with our team, visit our Training & Technical Assistance Center.

Person Centered Planning Training

NC DHHS is excited to announce the launch of updated person-centered planning (PCP) training. This is the culmination of six years of work focused on putting each individual’s desires and life goals at the center of the systems that support them. These new resources extend across all disabilities and age groups and was designed in alignment with the State Olmstead Plan, using experiences learned from the Transition to Community Living initiative. For more information, and to register for the trainings, visit the Person-Centered Planning Training page
