Hurricane Florence D-SNAP Locations

DHHS received approval from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to help some people in 34 counties buy food after Hurricane Florence through the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or D-SNAP.

Applications are no longer being accepted in 31 counties, but applications will be accepted from Nov. 1, 2018, to Nov. 9, 2018, from residents in three counties – Chatham, Durham and Guilford – for losses and damages related to Hurricane Florence between the dates of Sept. 7 and Oct. 6. All three sites will be closed on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Locations and times are below. This video provides information on D-SNAP in American Sign Language (ASL) for citizens who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing.
