  • April 9: Executive Order 131 addresses three issues: requires retail stores that are still operating to implement new social distancing policies to make shopping safer for customers and employees; makes earlier COVID-19 guidelines mandatory for nursing facilities, and recommends other long-term care facilities to do the same; speeds up the process to get benefits to people out of work.   • April 8: Executive Order 130 provides more access to health care beds, expands the pool of health care workers and orders essential childcare services for workers responding to the crisis. Summary | FAQ
  • March 31: Executive Order 124 (Spanish) prohibits utilities - including electric, gas, water and wastewater services - from disconnecting people who are unable to pay during this pandemic and prohibits them from collecting fees, penalties or interest for late payment. The order applies for the next 60 days and gives residential customers at least six months to pay outstanding bills.   • March 30: Executive Order 122 (Spanish) help schools and local governments access state surplus property to help bridge gaps during the response to COVID-19. 
  • March 27: Executive Order 121 (Spanish) issues a statewide Stay at Home Order beginning Monday, March 30, 2020 at 5 p.m. until April 29, 2020, directing people to stay at home except to visit essential businesses, to exercise outdoors or to help a family member.   • March 23: Executive Order 120 (Spanish) closes K-12 public school statewide through May 15, bans mass gatherings over 50 people, closes some businesses. Guidance (English, Spanish)
