Statement from N.C. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Mandy Cohen, M.D., about status of mental health, substance use and developmental disabilities services to residents of Nash County:

"As of July 1, the residents of Nash County who need behavioral health services from an LME/MCO are covered by Trillium Health Resources. Trillium will review, authorize and pay for services for all Nash County residents. Trillium has a full contract for Nash County in place, which assures continuity and access to care for Nash County residents. DHHS continues to work toward a smooth transition of management services for behavioral health care in Nash County from Eastpointe to Trillium Health Resources and expects to receive signed contracts from Eastpointe for their remaining 11 counties immediately."
