Reproductive Health

Reproductive health includes family planning, pregnancy support, and care before you become pregnant and between pregnancies. We provide family planning services to assist individuals in planning pregnancies, reduce unintended pregnancies in our state and improve birth outcomes. Pregnancy services assist individuals during and after pregnancy, while preconception/inter-conception services provide care before and in between pregnancies.

Abortion is available in North Carolina during the first 20 weeks of pregnancy. The details can be found in the North Carolina statute here.
