Advanced Medical Home Regional Training - Greensboro AM

DHHS Awards Contract for Medicaid Managed Care Enrollment Broker Services to MAXIMUS

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services today announced that it has awarded its contract for Medicaid managed care enrollment broker services to MAXIMUS, a government services provider based in Reston, Va. This is the first procurement contract award as the state prepares to move toward Medicaid managed care in North Carolina, a major milestone in the Medicaid transformation process.

The new board will convene on Friday evening, Jan. 26, for another training session and will come into session for its first official board meeting on Saturday, Jan. 27. At this board meeting, DHHS intends to transition leadership and governance of the organization to the new board and the Cardinal Innovations executive leadership team.
