- Get active, try something new and have fun.
Learn about local resources and get hands-on experience with accessible equipment at an Adaptive Recreation and Active Living Resource Fair near you. All fairs are free and open to the public. We encourage everyone interested in staying active and accessible recreation and leisure activities to attend.

The 2023 AT Expo is fast approaching held on October 5, 2023, at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center in Raleigh, NC.
The Expo will feature a Vendor Hall with over 30 Vendors, Break-Out Sessions that include CEU credits, and Poster presentations. This year’s event is In-Person but will have a Virtual option for any that cannot attend in person.

The North Carolina Assistive Technology Program (NCATP) hosted its 3rd AT Virtual Vendor Expo on September 29, 2022 at 9 am.
The virtual platform will be Zoom powered by the McKimmon Conference and Training Center in Raleigh, NC.
All are invited and encouraged to participate including individuals with disabilities, family members/caregivers, employers, local/state/national resources providing support to individuals, senior living providers, students, parents of children with special needs, older adults, VR Counselors, therapists, and educators.

Mr. Maxwell will discuss methods he has developed and adapted to make one-handed living easier. He will demonstrate tips and tricks he has learned throughout the years. He is a graduate of West Virginia University as well as from Full Sail University where he studied film. He has many interests some of which are traveling, photography, music, and restoring cars.
