Partner Programs

Several programs operate within the state of North Carolina that may serve a common population. Meeting income eligibility for WIC may also mean that individuals meet income eligibility criteria for additional programs. Partner programs include:  

• Medicaid 

• Food and Nutrition Services (commonly known as SNAP) 

• Work First Family Assistance (commonly known as TANF) 

• School Lunch Program offering free or reduced-cost meals for students 

• Mental Health Care  

• Oral Health Care 

• Child Care Subsidy for financial assistance for childcare services 

• Low Income Energy Assistance (LIEAP)  

• And many more programs targeted to assist with a variety of needs.
